Important Fraud Notice From Deaf Service Bureau! |
|
|
Dear DSB Friends, It has come to our attention that persons unrelated to the Deaf Service Bureau have been contacting members of the community by way of Instant Messages in an attempt to defraud them. We have been notified of several cases where people have been contacted by someone who says they work for the Deaf Service Bureau and offer to help them make money. The Deaf Service Bureau in no way endorses these kinds of activities and would never attempt to contact members of the community using Instant Messaging with these kinds of offers. If you or someone you know is contacted by Instant Messaging (IM) or by Email by someone who says they are from the Deaf Service Bureau and offers to help you make money, please report this immediately to our office at wendi@deafservicebureau.org so we can provide this information to the authorities. Thank you, Wendi Herzman, CEO Deaf Service Bureau |
