I wanted to give you an update on my mother’s condition: we knew she had been fighting the congestive heart failure and pneumonia recently, but her doctors continued to say that they thought something else was wrong. We found out yesterday, that she has bone cancer from her skull to her pelvis. Because she has not had much pain, they never suspected it and had never ordered a bone scan until yesterday. This bone cancer is secondary as it comes from the breast cancer she had a few years ago.

We will bring her home tomorrow under hospice care – it was her wish to be home where she can be comfortable. She is not in pain but very, very weak.
